“The 17-piece Cape Ann Big Band continues to delight sold out audiences with jazz, swing, soul, and rock n’ roll that will bring you back in time and make you want to dance.” Carlos Menezes Jr, Founder and Conductor of the Cape Ann Big Band has a Master’s degree in Music Education from Boston University. He also offers private studio lessons in both woodwinds and brass winds. A lifelong resident of Cape Ann, Menezes has over 5 years teaching experience and 10 years of professional performance. He has performed in over 25 countries across 3 continents, and continues to work within the Cape Ann Community to inspire and connect musicians both young and old across all genres of music.
