Shanghai Quartet & Wendy Chen
The Shanghai Quartet currently serves as Ensemble-in-Residence at Montclair State University and visiting guest professors of the Shanghai Conservatory and the Central Conservatory in China. In 1990, Wendy Chen became the youngest winner ever of the National Chopin Competition, she later became one of the inaugural recipients of the Irving S. Gilmore Young Artists Award and named a Presidential Scholar by the National Foundation for the Arts.
